Top Six Things I am Looking Forward to the Most at Epic Universe

What I Am Most excited about Epic Universe

I am lucky enough to get a sneak peek at Epic Universe this upcoming weekend, so what experiences am I MOST excited for. It looks like there have been issues with a few of the attractions. Harry Potter has not opened for any team member previews and only a select few have ridden it. I will not be getting my hopes up and be the most excited for that ride.

1.      The number one on my list is to experience the Monsters Land. Monsters Unchained is the attraction I want to ride the most out of all. The animatronics, the theming, and the ride vehicle all look top notch, and I am super excited about it. I love dark rides, and this one looks to be one of the best displays of animatronics in the park.

2.       Stardust Racers- This attraction looks to be a perfect combination of Velocicoaster and Dueling Dragons. I only rode Dueling Dragons a couple of times while the dueling occurred, and it was one of my favorite attractions. My first big roller coaster so I definitely have that nostalgia about it and when I saw another ACTUAL dueling coaster, I got excited. Nerd-wise I am excited about how quickly the line will move with how quick the Velocicoaster load time is. Double the capacity means quick lines. I am very excited about this attraction. A huge roller coaster and when Universal creates a roller coaster, typically it is really good. Not you Rockit… Never you.

3.      Hiccup Wing Gliders- This seems to be a Hagrid clone. Low to the ground, fast, fun, and great theming. My girlfriend and I have watched all the How to Train Your Dragon movies and it has got me really excited about the land as a whole. This attraction is the E-ticket of the land, and it has me very excited. Take a drink every time I say excited.

4.      The Untrainable Dragon- Universal Orlando Resort NEEDS theater shows. I love a midday break to experience a great show. The Grinchmas show is excellent, and they have a lot of talented people on staff, so I love that this show is coming. Berk seems to have the most COMPLETE land. Excellent theming, multiple dining stalls, meet and greets, theater shows, and three rides. Can I just include Berk as a whole in this list.

5.      Nintendo World- I am just going to bring this up as a whole. The videos I have seen in Japan, and in Hollywood makes this land look incredible. The rides, however, seem a little underwhelming, just my personal opinion. Mario Kart looks like there is too much going on, and DK seems like a kid coaster more than anything. Which is needed but I am just more excited about other rides.

6.      The Atlantic- Universal isn’t really my favorite place to eat but the theming inside and how beautiful the surroundings are I can’t help but put this on the list. Maybe this restaurant can also get a banner similar to Mythos saying it’s the best theme park restaurant in the world.

There were some omissions on this list. Not because I’m not excited for it but just because there are others, I am more excited about. The Curse of the Werewolf looked pretty underwhelming and short in the models so it will be interesting to see if there are any risers.

This theme park looks incredible. There are so many experiences to have, I just can’t wait to get in there. So many new attractions, so many restaurants, so many new snacks to try. So many lands to just experience. I can’t wait.
