Like any other place in Florida, there is golfing at Disney World
You have mini golf, foot golf, and several actual golf courses. At Saratoga Springs, the Lake Buena Vista golf course has hosted the PGA tour, the LPGA tour, and the USGA. At Shades of Green, which is right across from the Grand Floridian, there are three courses: the Palm, the Magnolia, and the Oak Trail golf courses. These are the ones I have played at. Not played more like hit a bunch of golf balls into the woods at these courses.
The Magnolia course has amazing views of the Grand Floridian and the Palm Course has views of Shades of Green and the new Poly tower. The Oak Trail golf course is their walking 9-hole course that offers footgolf Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays after 3 PM, 4 PM and 5 PM, depending on the time of year. $29 per adult, 25% off under 18.
These courses are beautifully maintained and have been enjoyable to play at every time I have gone. The Oak Trail course is my usual as I have a water park and sports option added to my annual pass which includes a round of golf at Oak Trail. I used to take full advantage of this benefit, but I have since decreased my golfing days.
For pricing, it is cheaper than the others as I checked this Friday, 9/27 tee times, and it starts at $46 in the morning but drops to $37 at 5:24 in the evening.
The Magnolia course starts at $155 in the morning and ends at $65 at 5:30 PM.
The Palm course starts the day at $148 and ends the day at $59 at 5:30 in the evening.
The Lake Buena Vista starts at $147 and ends the day at $59 at 5:30 in the evening.
These prices fluctuate depending on the time of year but those are just the current prices at the end of September.
As a cheapo and not very good at golf I will gladly take the discount and be the last person out on the course. I usually do it for Oak Trail and it happens to be incredibly peaceful doing that. No one pushing you, not waiting on anyone, you get to go at your pace which has always been great. You also get to see the sunset and it is much cooler than the morning heat.
When you buy a single-day ticket you can add this option for $35 to a 4-day FL resident ticket. For a regular ticket, you can add it for $70 on 4-day regular ticket. Which would allow you entrance into the Water parks, the Wide World of sports, the mini golf courses before four, and golf at Oak Trail. Decent deal if you don’t mind a walking course and if you want water parks. With a normal day being $40 and a one-day water park ticket being $74. Also available for footgolf.
My experiences with Walt Disney World have evolved over the years. I have been able to experience more restaurants and many more offerings than just the theme parks. Incredibly, they can stuff all this entertainment on one property.
